Ecology Amateurs was never built to be a brand that squeezes profit out of nature. It started as two friends getting outside, paying attention, and sharing what we learned along the way. The Forage shop exists to support that mission not to commercialize it.
The majority of proceeds from items in this store are planned to go directly toward conservation efforts, research initiatives, and organizations working to protect ecosystems and wildlife. A smaller portion helps fund our annual Ecology Amateurs adventures trips that allow us to explore different bioregions, document species, participate in citizen science projects, and bring those experiences back to the community through education and storytelling.
Every sticker, patch, or piece of gear is a way to give back while helping us keep the field notebook growing.
